What excites you and what concerns you
as a teacher? At this annual conference, you are invited to join over
100 of your CSU colleagues to learn a whole host of successful, engaging
and innovative teaching and learning tips and strategies. Come
and share what you are learning as you experiment with new ways of teaching,
perform classroom research on teaching, and/or integrate innovative
teaching techniques that address curricular and instructional issues.
This event is also an opportunity for you to interact with colleagues
who are committed to excellence in teaching across the CSU system. The CSU Symposium is a peer-reviewed
conference for teaching and learning. It seeks to recognize and advance
excellent instructional practices, to disseminate innovative ideas,
to promote collaboration, and to encourage the continued exploration
and evaluation of ways that we teach. Past conferences have proven to
be inspiring, energetic events that renew and invigorate CSU's commitment
to teaching and learning. Each session will include a 20-minute presentation with five (5) minutes for questions and comments after each. This year's topics include:
