Summer Research Fellowships
Research Fellowship applications (are usually $3,000) for summer, but maybe more depending upon availability of funds.
THESE AWARDS ARE CONTINGENT UPON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS FROM THE CSU FOUNDATION.
The purpose of these grants is to encourage faculty to engage in research or creative activity that will enhance their professional growth.
These grants consist of a summer stipend that must represent a minimum of 130 hours of activity at a flat rate of $3,000. A proposed project shall not duplicate any other project already funded from any other source within the university during the same academic year. As a rule, requests for equipment which is generally available or attainable through Colleges/Departments and which is not specific to the project will not be recommended for approval.
All proposals will be blind reviewed by the appropriate College/Library Professional Awards Committee. To maintain the integrity of the blind review process, the proposal should not include the name or other identifying information about the applicant except on the cover page.
